We are seeking a highly skilled tech lead with experience in web and mobile app development to lead our dynamic development team.

💪 Responsibilities

​

• Collaborate with the development team and product manager to strategize and plan software solutions

• Oversee the architecture design for client-side and server-side of our systems, including our mobile apps and upcoming web platform

• Lead the development and maintenance of our software across multiple platforms

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software

• Ensure the implementation of security and data protection settings

• Write technical documentation

• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and proactively recommend improvements to existing systems

• Mentor junior team members, improving their skills and knowledge

☝️ Requirements

​

• Proven experience as a tech lead or similar role

• Experience with full-stack web development and knowledge about mobile app development (Native iOS and Android)

• Knowledge of multiple frontend technologies and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React.Js, Next.Js, Vue.Js, Nuxt.Js, XML, jQuery)

• Knowledge of multiple backend technologies (e.g. Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MongoDB), Cloud servers & Architecture (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure), and UI/UX design

• Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

• Language requirements: English (full professional proficiency) (& German is advantageous)

• Must be based in Berlin
